About me

I am a student of the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez campus and I am currently studying my second year of mechanical engineering. In addition to my study career, I am passionate about basketball, because I was part of the YMCA team at Ponce since I was 8 years old. In my first two years of studyI have been able to get involved in different projects and have taken the first courses concerning my concentration. In my first year I was part of the NASA L’Space Academy project, in this project I got the experience of being able to work as a team with people from faraway places, in a large project and to design in the Solidedge program. In addition, I am currently working on the Moonbuggy engineering project where I have been able to develop my SolidWorks and problem-solving skills. On the other hand, I am part of the several organization as the Engineering Program for Engineering Access, Retention, and Liats Success (EPEARLS), National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) and National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) in which I have strengthened my leadership skills and have helped me prepare better for the world of work. I am currently looking for every opportunity like an internship or Co-op, referent to my concentration in order to obtain new experiences that would help me grow professionally.
